The Christian Role in the Harvest.

Luke 10:1-3

       I.      In spite of the difficulty and lack of conversions, God assures us that the harvest is great.

A.    The statistics confirm a lack of prayer.

1.      Prayer for the Spirit led conversion of souls.

There is no easy pickins when it comes to the great commission.

 

We know the numbers are out there from every walk of life, and need to be involved in praying for them.

2.      Prayer for the increase of laborers.

 

B.     Its greatness in number reflects its greatness in importance.

1.      Demanding training.

2.      Demanding time.

    II.      Praying for laborers does not prevent our involvement.

A.    Praying and doing go hand in hand.

Nehemiah’s people worked and prayed simultaneously.

B.     Obedience to the command is blessed with other helpers.
