The Judgement of God

God recaps the creation of man.

God begins to detail the “Seed line.”

God presents the line as if Cain never even existed.

God gave Adam a long life.

Questions about the ages in Genesis 5:

Was their year shorter than ours?

Did years really mean months?

How could anyone live that long?

Pre-flood environment.

Lack of degradation.

Will of God.

Enoch

Methuselah - “When he dies it shall be sent.”

Lamech misunderstood the purpose of his son, Noah.

Methuselah died the year of the flood.

God is true to his promise and kept a remnant.

Parents can raise their children to fear God and have some who do and some who don’t.
