CH 15 AT A GLANCE
USE YOUR STRENGTHS TO SERVE OTHERS, PROCLAIM THE GOSPEL, DO THIS IN THE POWER OF GOD ALONE, PLAN TO GO WHERE GOD SENDS YOU, LAST BUT CERTAINLY NOT LEAST PRAY
PRAYER REQUESTED
"No man is greater than his prayer life.
The pastor who is not praying is playing; the people who are not praying are straying.
We have many organizers, but few agonizers; many players and payers, few pray-ers; many singers, few clingers; lots of pastors, few wrestlers; many fears, few tears; much fashion, little passion; many interferers, few intercessors; many writers, but few fighters.
Failing here, we fail everywhere."
~ Leonard Ravenhill

REQUESTS LISTED
“Most Christians pray to be blessed.
Few pray to be broken.“
SAFETY- to be protected from the unbelievers…trying to kill him
SUCCESS-his service to be accepted by believers
SANITY-to fellowship, come to you and be refreshed together
Acts 4:23-31 “And when they were released, they went to their own people and reported all that the chief priests and the elders had said to them.
And when they heard it, they lifted their voices with one mind to God and said, “Master, .....by Holy Spirit .......And now, Lord, concern yourself with their threats and grant your slaves to speak your message with all boldness, as you extend your hand to heal and signs..... and when they had prayed the place where they were gathered was shaken…”
PRAYER OFFERED
What can we do to satisfy the heart of our Father in heaven?
The answer is near thee, even in thy mouth.
Vacate the throne room of your heart and enthrone Jesus there.
Set Him in the focus of your heart’s attention and stop wanting to be a hero.
Make Him your all in all and try yourself to become less and less.
Dedicate your entire life to His honor alone and shift the motives of your life from self to God.
Let the reason back of your daily conduct be Christ and His glory, not yourself, nor your family nor your country nor your church.
In all things let Him have the preeminence.

THE GOD OF PEACE....THE SOURCE OF PEACE
WE ALL NEED TO PRAY MORE....COP OUT....YOU GET SERIOUS ABOUT IT!!!
Why is prayer important?
Because it helps us grow closer to God.
Why is prayer important?
Prayer opens the door to greater understanding.
We acknowledge GOD IS THE ONLY power GREATER than ourselves.
WE don’t have all the answers.
Recognizing this fact helps us set aside our emotions and seek the truth.
The two can be very different.
praying allows us to confront areas of our life where we need help.
if we are to be honest, we tend to bury the tough stuff.
When we pray, we bring our circumstances before the only one that can truly help us.
God knows everything, therefore there is no-one more qualified in our time of need to provide a solution.
Why is prayer important?
Look at Jesus .
He prayed often.
It was because even He, in His earthly body, needed to be connected daily with the Father to stay strong enough to accomplish what He needed to do on this earth.
Why is prayer important?
God hears us when we pray.
Not only does He hear us, but from His infinite wisdom intercedes in our lives.
We may not always understand what is going on right away, but God is faithful to answer, strengthen, and protect us
