Timothy was gifted for this ministry. It wasn’t his choice. His ministry was given to him through the gifting that God had given to him.

I spoke at our national conference and Pastor Ike Graham told me afterward that someone from our congregation in Orrville where I grew up who heard me preach said, “When did Ethan become so good at preaching?” He hadn’t heard me preach for over 15 years. He taught me in Sunday school and only knew me as some young kid who had just started in the pastorate.
