2 Corinthians 13:5 NKJV
5 Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you are disqualified.
2 Peter 1:10 NKJV
10 Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble;
How do you test yourself?
you do a heart check!
Does your heart desire to please God or are you overwhelmingly still out to please yourself?
Luke 6:43–45 NKJV
43 “For a good tree does not bear bad fruit, nor does a bad tree bear good fruit. 44 For every tree is known by its own fruit. For men do not gather figs from thorns, nor do they gather grapes from a bramble bush. 45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.
what kind of fruit are you bearing?
Matthew 3:7–11 NKJV
7 But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to his baptism, he said to them, “Brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the wrath to come? 8 Therefore bear fruits worthy of repentance, 9 and do not think to say to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father.’ For I say to you that God is able to raise up children to Abraham from these stones. 10 And even now the ax is laid to the root of the trees. Therefore every tree which does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.
Don’t Get stuck in religion when its relationship that matters!
Have you come to repentance?
do you know that you are a sinner?
have you recieved the grace of God.
are you just hanging out in the holy hot tub?
2 Timothy 4:5 NKJV
5 But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.

Are you a good person who is struggling? or are you in need of a savior because you are a sinner?

Romans 3:23 NKJV
23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

Who are the all?

We are the all!

What is the results of sin?

Romans 6:23 NKJV
23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
the wages of sin is death...
James 1:12–15 NKJV
12 Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him. 13 Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone. 14 But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed. 15 Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death.
Where does sin come from? my own desire!
James 1:14 NKJV
14 But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed.
when the fat man has the ice cream delivered because he desires it.
when you have a in appropriate relationship with my eyes or browser because I can.
when I gamble because it thrills me instead of being grateful for His provision.
when I am angry instead of long suffering.
when I gossip instead of minding my own business.
2 Thessalonians 3:11–12 NKJV
11 For we hear that there are some who walk among you in a disorderly manner, not working at all, but are busybodies. 12 Now those who are such we command and exhort through our Lord Jesus Christ that they work in quietness and eat their own bread.
1 Timothy 5:13–16 NKJV
13 And besides they learn to be idle, wandering about from house to house, and not only idle but also gossips and busybodies, saying things which they ought not. 14 Therefore I desire that the younger widows marry, bear children, manage the house, give no opportunity to the adversary to speak reproachfully. 15 For some have already turned aside after Satan. 16 If any believing man or woman has widows, let them relieve them, and do not let the church be burdened, that it may relieve those who are really widows.
whatever your sin is have you born the fruit of repentance?

Your sin entered the world through Adam.

Romans 5:12 NKJV
12 Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned—

Christ died for you while you where (or are in sin).

Romans 5:8 NKJV
8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Come to Him Now!

Romans 10:9–10 NKJV
9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

to the saved that are engaged in sin, that is sapping your spiritual strength...

…STOP!

Hebrews 12:1 NKJV
1 Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,

Receive Jesus, by receiving the Kingdom

Matthew 10:40–42 NKJV
40 “He who receives you receives Me, and he who receives Me receives Him who sent Me. 41 He who receives a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet’s reward. And he who receives a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man’s reward. 42 And whoever gives one of these little ones only a cup of cold water in the name of a disciple, assuredly, I say to you, he shall by no means lose his reward.”
