Jesus Calling Fisherman to join him
They immediately Go with Jesus.
We need to remember why we are in Gods Army the church
Corrie Ten Boom
"You can never learn that Christ is all you need, until Christ is all you have."
God always will provide whats needed to follow him.
God Provides
“Life is but the Weaving” by Corrie Ten Boom
My life is but a weaving
Between my God and me.
I cannot choose the colors
He weaveth steadily.
Oft’ times He weaveth sorrow;
And I in foolish pride
Forget He sees the upper
And I the underside.
Not ’til the loom is silent
And the shuttles cease to fly
Will God unroll the canvas
And reveal the reason why.
The dark threads are as needful
In the weaver’s skillful hand
As the threads of gold and silver
In the pattern He has planned
He knows, He loves, He cares;
Nothing this truth can dim.
He gives the very best to those
Who leave the choice to Him.
I challenge you to read, “The Hiding Place.”
What a powerful and humbling example Corrie is as she remained focused on God after the atrocities she witnessed and experienced.
I don’t know about you, but I have room to grow in this area!
Be willing to listen to those who need a shoulder to cry on, or be willing to open your heart when you are the one in need.
And remember, even when all we can see is a jumbled mess of thread, our loving Father sees the finished artwork!
Corrie ten Boom was a Dutch watchmaker who became a heroine of the Resistance, a survivor of Hitler's concentration camps, and one of the most remarkable evangelists of the twentieth century.
In World War II she and her family risked their lives to help Jews and underground workers escape from the Nazis, and for their work they were tested in the infamous Nazi death camps.
Only Corrie among her family survived to tell the story of how faith ultimately triumphs over evil.
