Paul is answering 2 questions here from 1:18-3:20
Why must the righteous live by faith?
Why is a recieved righteousness the only way to be in right standing with God?

Just as the righteousness of God is being revealed in Verse 17.
The Wrath of God is being revealed in verse 18.
Is Being Revealed means now, not later, not past but is now in real time being revealed against 1. Ungodliness 2. unrighteousness of Men
Why is God angry
Ungodliness- The vertical relationship with God is broken.
Unrighteousness of Men- the Horizontal relationship is broken. Disregard of human rights to love, truth, justice.

Epithumia- Over Desiring Things that are not absolutely bad.
Example- Sex vs Lust- Needs vs jealousy
We fight this by praise.
We fight this by being aware of where God is in your life.
Who is on the throne?
We fight this by service.
