Romans 1 18-24 “For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because that which is known about God is evident within them; for God made it evident to them.

For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse.

For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God or give thanks, but they became futile [Unbeliever, darkened in their understanding]

in their speculations, [their ability to reason, think clearly]

and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing to be wise, they became fools, and exchanged the glory of the incorruptible God for an image in the form of corruptible man and of birds and four-footed animals and crawling creatures.

Therefore God gave them over in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, so that their bodies would be dishonored among them.”

Ephesians 4:17–18 NASB 95

So this I say, and affirm together with the Lord, that you walk no longer just as the Gentiles also walk, in the futility of their mind, being darkened in their understanding, excluded from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the hardness of their heart;

The bible is the only real source of information about where we came from, who we are today, and where we are going after we die.

The Churches role is to tell us all about that and to go out and make disciples of Jesus Christ, by getting the gospel, about Jesus Christ, to every soul on earth.

Again, this is a hard pill the swallow if you don’t believe in the bible nor know anything about the bible

That’s the mission of the church, to help you know about things in the bible to help you better understand where you came from, who you are today, and where you go after you die,

What better place then in the house of God, “the Church” to proclaim the Scriptures faithfully in these trying times.

Why then are there only a handful of preachers actually doing this today? Why are we not being fed the whole word of God in the church? Why when you go the church today something seems to be missing, like telling me I’m a sinner and needing to repent,; like telling me this world Live in will one day be destroyed; or that we have a real enemy called Satan and his desire is to destroy us, cause all to join him in hell. What about hell? Where is that being preached today? Why are churches today spoon feeding their congregations? Are the numbers that important , in the money

I believe the result of this lack started many year ago when governments and the people, started taking prayer and bibles out of schools, replacing with all other kinds of ideologies

Resulting, Which then however, moved into Churches and at home everywhere and are more and more looking like the world, the very world the Apostle John writes what not to do

1 John 2:15 NASB 95

Do not love the world nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

This study is to help weed out the worldly permeating influence that is becoming the new norm in today’s church

This study will look at, if your a New comer looking for a church- things to look for when choosing a church for the first time, or if the church you have been going to have closed it’s doors.

Moreover, Maybe the church you may have attended for years has started to look more and more worldly--even started going against the teaching of the Word or what the bible calls, “being deceived” and, “going apostate”

2 Thessalonians 2:3 NASB 95

Let no one in any way deceive you, for it will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction,

My hope, is to apply a short easy to follow road map into helping those looking for a church that is, hopefully, close to remaining true and faithful to the Bible because the bible tells us not to neglect the assembly of believers, but also tells us a time is coming when , Matt 24:24

Matthew 24:24 NASB 95

For false Christs and false prophets will arise and will show great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect.

Things to look out for when choosing a church today

Church Doctrine -statement of faith [What do they believe and are they following it?]

Sin, is the number one thing the church should want to tackle. Not only address, but help each other be accountable though programs and bible studies and in home visits etc

Eschatology, should be in every message show how we are here as pilgrims, temporary and waiting for either the rapture or day of our going home

Jesus, trinity, eternal, creation, creator

Jesus and Salvation, the cross, the reason, the hope, the FCF,

Music, is not worship! Music , is to prepare for service message, loosen up from the worries of life during the week, a time that says, get ready to meet God, re-Focus

Worship, silences, Prayer, scripture read aloud with more scripture to back it up, praise God ‘even a fool when he keeps silent, is considered wise; when he closes his lips, he is considered prudent” Prudent=act wisely, to ponder, to make one wise see Gen 3:6 Eve was playing the part of a fool or foolishly-she thought herself prudent

Worship, what it’s not, is a money entice maker, a give the people what they want tool for more numbers-no Worship is; to meet God through His Word

Worship is an encounter with the living and holy God (Exodus 3:1–6)

Worship is bowing down as an outward display of an inner attitude of reverence

To Celebrating God - Hallelujah

Worship is; Ps 95:1-11 Sing for joy to the rock of our salvation..sing with Psalms…sing with scriptures

Worship is; Rom 12:1 present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice

Worship is; the four living creatures falling down holding a harp and a golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints. And they sang a new song, saying,”Worthy are you to take the book and break its seal...
