LET’S GROW - Phil 3:15-16

Establish Protocol - Praise God for YOU! Appreciate those who are serving - still have room for more.
Greetings from CEUM.
Phil 3:15-17 “15 Let all who are spiritually mature agree on these things. If you disagree on some point, I believe God will make it plain to you. 16 But we must hold on to the progress we have already made. 17 Dear brothers and sisters, pattern your lives after mine, and learn from those who follow our example.”
PRAY
INTRO: When our children were learning to walk they couldn’t take very many steps without stumbling.
Their bones were not developed, their leg muscles were to weak. In many cases we had to carry them because they were not able to keep up with their walk.
With days, weeks, months, and years, our children gained the maturity to walk along side of us.
We are more than halfway through our collective 21 Days of Consecration. Why did we CONSECRATE?
We consecrated to separate ourselves from ourselves.
We CONSECRATED to GROW Spiritually.
The Apostle Paul is instructing us on how to grow and what that growth looks like.
LET’S GROW! In order for us to walk together we must be MATURE enough to agree.
How can 2 walk together unless they agree.?
Whatever God says is true…can we agree on that?
Wherever God is leading is true…can we agree on that?
SO, as unified believers, God is saying to us “LET’S GROW!”

SPIRITUALLY MATURE- v. 15

Let all who are spiritual mature...
The Bible lets us know that all are children of God, but not all are Spiritually MATURE.
Education Does not equal Spiritual Maturity.
Age Does not equal Spiritual Maturity.
Income Does not equal Spiritual Maturity.
The church you attend does not equal Spiritual Maturity.
Spiritual Maturity is best defined by your WILLINGNESS to GROW IN God and WITH one another - Unity.
How IS MATURITY achieved ?
1. Phil 3:1 “1 Whatever happens, my dear brothers and sisters, rejoice in the Lord. I never get tired of telling you these things, and I do it to safeguard your faith.”
Papa Duale - Rejoicing in the Lord protects your focus/faith.
2. Phil 3:2 “2 Watch out for those dogs, those people who do evil, those mutilators who say you must be circumcised to be saved.”
Watch for those who add to the Gospel. Watch out for those who teach false doctrine. 2011; Inclusion.
Paul Says If you are Spiritually Mature then let’s GROW INTO THE NEW BLESSINGS OF GOD.

SPIRITUALLY IMMATURE - 15b

Paul makes it clear that if you disagree you’re NOT put OUT of the body of Christ…you haven’t lost your salvation.
Notice what Paul does say, “ I believe God will make it plain to you who disagree.”
Paul trusted God enough to make it plain to the Spiritually Immature.
What does this trust look like?
Praying - for your vision - Elishah and Gehaza.
Teaching - Titus 1.
Focusing on God ~ AGE OF SELF DETERMINATION - Gen 11:4Come, let us build ourselves a city, with a tower that reaches to the heavens, so that we may make a name for ourselves; otherwise we will be scattered over the face of the whole earth.”
SO, if your are Spiritually Immature, Let’s GROW TOGETHER and WALK TOGETHER.

WALK TOGETHER - V. 16

Phil 3:16 “We must hold on to the progress we have already made.”
Realize who you are; what WE have accomplished.
Yes we’ve made progress…but we must move on to NEW VICTORIES.
WALK TOGETHER to the hope of the future-Je 29:11
WALK TOGETHER in our faithWe believe in Jesus...
CLOSE: CONSECRATION Causes us to be OBEDIENT to God/Leaders; FAITHFUL to our assignment; LOVING towards one another; PEACEFUL in all situations.
We are living in the last days. Christ could come at any moment.
We don’t want Him to find us wandering around like babies who are weak and stumbling.
We want Him to find us FAITHFULLY doing the work He has assigned for us to do.
LET’S GROW! LET’S Press towards the mark of the high calling in Christ Jesus.
Search your heart as you continue to CONSECRATE YOURSELVES. ONLY THROUGH JESUS CHRIST.
PRAY AND ASK FOR GOD’S GRACE AS WE walk together in unity and love.
LET’S GROW!
