Could it be that in order to face our Esau, we need to win the fight within ourselves? That the biggest fight we will face in life is not the fight our there, it is the fight within. When facing a challenge are you someone that runs away from it, or are you willing to wrestle with it? I want to share with you three transformative truths that the story of Jacob reveals to us when we are in the fight of our lives, and how we can face our fears if we do not let go too soon!

Turn your Bibles with me. We're going to go right into it and then we going to have a word of prayer together. Firstly, we going to go to Romans Romans, 12:2 Steven already read that for us but it says and do not be conformed to this world. What the Bible is saying here is that there is a pattern that this world has and there is a way of thinking that this world has and pull the saying, don't be pressured into the way of thinking that the world has but be transformed how everyone by the renewing of your mind. That you may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God. So many of us want to know what the will of God is for our lives. But the reality is, pulse is unless which transformed, we will never really see the fullness of God's will for our life. We're going to talk about that a little more. We going to jump to the Old Testament, hang in there with me. We're going to go to Genesis chapter 32 verse 6 and 7. Says, this been The Messengers return to Jacob saying we came to your brother, Esau, that's Jacob's twin brother. And he is also coming to meet you. Now, you have to know the context T the Lost Time. Jacob, Sol a Sol a, Sol wanted to kill him. he said he's coming to meet you or someone say uh, oh, And he's coming with 400 men to a with him. Now he's got a crew. He's not a career that he's coming to see him. He's coming with 400 men. So Jacob was greatly afraid and distressed. I don't know what your 2023 is. Looking like. But maybe there's some Esau's that have come your way and he divided the people this is Jacob strategy here. He divided the people that were with him and the flocks and herds and camels into two companies. Jacob may not be as strong as he saw, but he's got strategy. And he seeks to divide his family into two groups. We jumped down to verse 22 22 26 and he arose that night and took his two wives. Again someone say I blame Laban for that and his two female servants and he is 11 sons and crossed over the 4th of jbuck. He took them sent them over the brook and send over what he had. Then Jacob was left alone and a man wrestled with him until the breaking of day. Now when he saw that he did not Prevail against him, he touched the socket of his hip. That's all it took was a touch and the socket of Jacob's hip was out of joint as he wrestled with him. And he said, let me go for the bay brakes. At one point. Jacob, he's wrestling with a man. And now he's holding on to the man. And the man says, let me go for the day breaks, but he said, I will not let you go, unless you bless me. I will not let you go. Unless you bless me the message tonight that I'd like to speak about for ash or little while is this and we have the title on the screen? Don't let go, that should say, don't let go too soon. Don't let go too soon. Don't let go of God too soon. Let's pray together. Let's pray. Father God, we recognize we recognize that Lord, that we are in a battle. Some of us are in the Battle of Ally. Lord, we are wrestling. And some of us think the enemy is Easter, but the reality is they may be a war that is happening within us. And the Temptation is to let go of you and your hand. The Temptation is to let go too soon. But Jacob said, I will not. Let go until you bless me. Lord, we pray that tonight. We will not let go of your hand until you bless us this evening for. We ask it in Jesus name, amen.

Surgery break. I don't know what you did, but my wife and I had the chance to go to Estrella, and why we were there, my wife? Christina, and my sister got to catch up. They really get along together. I really think my sister likes Christina a lot more than me. I was a good brother but they just get along. And as they were talkin, I say, we're getting along and as they were having a meal together. I was from a distance, but the conversation shifted to me now. It's always dangerous when a sibling talks about that other sibling, a right? I was thinking, where is this conversation going to go? And my sister ended up telling kind of a little bit of an embarrassing story of me when I was younger to Christina and Christina hasn't forgot it. you see when I was around 9 or 10 years old. I had this challenge that. Have you ever had a song get stuck in your mind? And you just keep repeating that song and that was my issue. But severe round, 9 years old and lasted for about a year. They would be songs that I would hear and they would just get stuck in my mind if I had homework to do, that would be the song that would be playing if I was, you know, in the car that'll be the song that would be playing if I was watching television. That would be the song that would be playing in my mind and my sister thinks this is hilarious because it got so bad that I would just hear a song on the television and it will just get stuck in my mind. So I forbid the family to turn on the television, just Fitbit them. It's driving. I couldn't even sleep at night. Sometimes this song would be playing in my mind, I told him you can't turn on the radiator. I forbid, you songs that getting stuck in my mind and it got to the point where there was one night that I couldn't sleep. Literally, I was up to midnight with a song stuck in my mind.

I couldn't sleep. I had an exam the next day. First thing in the morning, And I went and knocked on my sister's door. I had two sisters and they slept in the same room, I knocked on the door. And I said, I cannot sleep. Would you let me sleep on the floor and they just thought I was pranking them. I said, this is not a prank. This is serious. And did you ever have a concern in your mind? And everyone else is laughing about it, and they're just laughing. And I'm like, this is serious. I cannot sleep. I slept on the floor and this it took about a year for me to get over it. Now, I don't know if that's your issue. If you have any songs that is stuck in your mind, or if you can relay, but even though it may be not song, stuck in your mind, the reality is that at some point or another we deal with forced at consumer, We deal with thoughts that that's the only thing we can think about. That's the only thing that's consuming out mine and some of those thoughts may be positive but other thought maybe negative. Let's go to the next slide here. Psychologists use the phrase cognitive distortions to describe irrational or faulty thinking patterns. Let me give you some examples of these. Let's go to the first example, the first one is this disqualifying the positive? Disqualifying the positive disqualifying, the positive, by example, could be a friend Praises you in front of the whole class and says, wow, you are so smart. You, you know exactly what he's taking place in what the professor is teaching. And in your mind, you say, they just saying that cuz we grew up together someone tonight, might I know you, you look nice. You look sharp and you say they just saying that cuz they sat next to me. That's the scoala fying, the positive, okay. And and psychologists that is, in many ways a distorted way of thinking about reality. Let's go to another one. Overgeneralizing overgeneralizing generalizing looks like this. It could be that you're on campus here and you're on the Promenade and you walk by someone and you say hi and they don't say hi back cuz that ever happened to you.

You like, I'm sure they heard me, but they didn't say hi back in. This is what goes through your mind. What goes through your mind is, well. I guess no one likes me and there fall because no one likes me. I'm never going to get married because I'm never going to get married. I'm going to die alone and because I'm going to die alone. I'll I'll never be happy for the rest of my life. This just went from one person not saying hi. That's called overgeneralization. Some of you may be doing it right now. Overgeneralization the third one I want to share with you is this it's cold. All or nothing thinking all or nothing thinking all or nothing thinking goes that little bit like this either. It was a great Christmas or the worst Christmas of my life is no in-between. It's all or nothing either. People like me or they hate me either. I'm really smart or just really dumb either. I'm really richel really poor either way. There is no in-between, it's all-or-nothing thinking. And I believe that Jacob had a distorted view of reality cuz he had all-or-nothing kind of thinking there was some thoughts that were consuming and that's me, write in Roman, he took a pattern of the world in order to receive the blessing of God, that's what he thought he had to do with his Blessing. He needed to do it his way. He needed to follow a certain pattern. And what was the pattern of thinking that he had will Patriarchs and Prophets gives us really good insight into Jacobs thinking, this is what it says, this spiritual Birthright that he Jacob carefully. Treasured what he had learned from his mother day and night the subject. What everyone occupied, his thoughts, until a big game became the absorbing interest of his life. But while he saw sustained, internal about temporal blessings, Jacob had not yet, he had not an experience, knowledge of the god, whom he reveal his heart. Had not been renewed by divine grace, is it possible that we can grow up in church, grow up in a Godly family, but not have a renewing experience with God. Is it possible that our parents can teach us all the principles of the Bible? We can take Bible class. We can be at Southern Adventist University. And yes, have not experienced a renewing relationship with God. That was Jacob. He's hot had not been renewed by divine grace. He believed that the promise concerning himself could not be fulfilled. So long as Esau retain the rights of the first born and he constantly, what? He constantly studied to devise some way whereby, he might secure the blessings, which his brother help. So, tight, the lightning But which was Sir freshest to him. I'll repeat that again. He constantly study to Vice to devise some way. Whereby, he might secure the blessing which his brother held so lightly but which was so fresh esteem self. The consuming photo of Jacob was. I want, what Esau has Have You Ever Wanted? What someone else had Esau had what Jacob wanted and therefore Jacob became fixated in getting the blessing and now we find Jacob in Genesis chapter 32. He's the one that stole the blessing but he's on the Run. He's on the run. The last time. Jacob saw his twin brother, Esau. He wanted to kill him and what happens next? And this is why we find the story. Jacob gets a second chance to confront Esau And the climax of the story happens here in Genesis way we find. That is Jacob has he changed over the last 20 years or so? Or will he confront easel the same way? He did. Last time we'll use deception to get what he wants. I don't know what your 20 to look like, but I believe that the Esau's in 2022.

Can meet you in 2023. We may have a new year, but the same easel that we have to face. And the question is not, if we Face the same East or the question is, are we going to use the same type of thinking that we had in 22 in 2023? Or are we going to change the way we can front out east? So are you going to use the same patterns used in 2022 in 2023 or has God done a work within you? Are you going to hold on to God and not let go until He blesses you. So we find Jacob here about to confront a saw and Genesis 32. Verse 22 says, then Jacob was left alone. Have you ever been alone? Give me an alarm. That that everything that was. Maybe I brought you a sense of security that was familiar to you was gone. And that's why Jacob is right now. He has sent his family into directions, he's strategizing and he's alone there and it's midnight. Everything that is important to him is distant but I want you to know this that sometimes when you're alone that's when God does his greatest work. Came in that sometimes when we're alone that's where God is able to do a transforming work within us. There are examples in the Bible where God did his greatest work when he's people were alone. Think about Joseph he was alone in the pits before he went to the Palace think about Moses he was alone on the mountain when he saw the burning bush and God calling out to him. Think about you. The Baptist who was alone in the wilderness before he baptized the Messiah. Think about Peter who spent more time, maybe in prison because of his face. Being alone, think about Paul Paul, probably spend more time in prison than anyone else. And yet, he wrote most of the New Testament, he spent time alone. Think about Adam before he met Eve, the Bible says he was alone. Are you comfortable being alone?

Are you comfortable knowing that? Sometimes in our journey with God, they will be moments when we are alone. God often does his best work when we are alone. He's the question can God get you alone or is your life? So filled with things and stuff that God doesn't have a moment to have a one-on-one transformative experience with you. Some of us may need to check out social media at every few minutes could be happening right now. Raise your hand ticket. We see your phone going night night. Do you know that people's research is showing that on average, people touch their phones, every 3 to 4 minutes.

Does God have time to meet with you alone? Some some of you were caught up saying God I need to get this a and class, I need to buy this and make sure that I look good on Sabbath going to church and none of these things on their own are bad. But I wonder if we see our own life, this way that it could be cluttered with so much stuff that God has no time for us to be alone with him. And the Bible says that Jacob met God when he was left alone, Some of you may have broken up with someone last year, maybe you're the Christmas break. But before you get going to the new year with the new year and maybe a new Booth, please please.

I know that to be cliche but please do not.

If you see, if you've gone through a break-up, do not say, I Lord, I cannot be alone. I'm going to just jump to the next relationship before taking time to reflect on what happened. Before taking time and say God I know it's I know there's issues with them but is a possible that these issues with me, could I be carrying baggage from one relationship to the other? Don't jump from one year to the next wanting to be too afraid to be alone that we go from one thing to the next and don't take time to reflect on what happened. Take time to be alone, the greatest transformation in our lives happen. When we take time to be alone, some people aren't comfortable being alone. They need people around them constantly. Some people jump from one job to the next run relationship to the next. Maybe one major to the next. The reality is very times when we need to stop and pause and be alone with God and say, God do a work within me. I'm going to take time to be alone and that's why I love the Sabbath. That's why I love being here at Vespers. That's why I like taking time and say God this is the 24-hour. Where I don't have to worry about my studies. I don't have to worry about my job. I don't have to worry about the craziness in my life. It's time to pause and say God, it's just, you and me. Here's the thing. If we can't be alone with God will never be able to face out. Esau. And could it be that some of us can't face the East solo on Monday and Tuesday because we never spent time alone with God on Sabbath. That the Sabbath is meant to be a time where you are restored by God to face your eSource through the week. Cuz he's sore is coming and he's got four hundred men with him. Time to be alone with God.

Not going to tell you what to do, but if I was going to give you some advice, don't marry someone that doesn't know how to spend time alone with God because he's the thing. If they don't have time for God what makes you think they have time for you?

If they can spend time alone with. I don't know. Just talkin about time with you. Something about quality time. Not just time with you when they want something. It's too early for 2013. I get it. But will 2023 how I get it but but, I'm talking about quality time, quality time.

If they can't spend time with God, they'll never be able to prioritize you. Jacob spend time, he was left alone with God, Judas circumstances, and he's the thing. Jacob was able to have a transformative experience because he was left alone. So we go to the next verse here.

The Bible says, okay with moving the other direction yet.

And a man wrestled with him until the breaking of day. Jacob did not let go of God, he didn't stop holding on when he was alone. And now he's wrestling with a man. And the Bible says that he was wrestling with him until the break of day.

It's midnight about now and you can imagine, it's nighttime, Ellen, White gives this description that where Jacob was there was Weeds. That this was a dangerous location, he was at and she says that there was a hand, a heavy hand that touched him Now, when you're scared and when you're feafel, if there's a hand that touches you, I'm sure that he was sleeping with one eye open. He was scared. He was fearful, he was worried that Esau was coming. But is it possible that God came not to fight him, but to comfort him? That God didn't come to have a fight with Jacob. He came to comfort, Jacob, but it's interesting that when we're not transformed, even God can look like the enemy. That even the people that are trying to help you you think I trying to hurt you? That there is some people that God places in your life but because we may have a have a distorted idea of reality. We think the people that are trying to help us, I really trying to her and maybe some of us in our Christian walk, I saying to God, why did you do this to me? God. Why am I going through this God? Why am I experiencing this? And we think the hand that is there to comfort us? Is there a her. And so Jacob begins to fight with God. He begins to wrestle with God. Thinking it's an enemy when it's really you, the one that will bless him. Could we lose a blessing? Because we're fighting god with fighting the one that is trying to help us. The Bible then says this while they were wrestling while they were there. And I don't know if you've wrestled with someone, but it takes a lot of strength and all your might, and Jacob was for, probably a pretty strong guy in the man who we know is is is is an Angelic. Most likely Christ himself. He said let me go for the day breaks and he said I will not let you go until you bless me. The very person Jacob realizes after a while that touched him on the hip and he suck at this located just by a touch. God, can we don't try to fight. I've tried to fight God. Guess what? He always wins. He always wins. He just touched him on the hip and his hip dislocated and now the person that is trying to hold off, he's now trying to hold on. And he said, I'm not going to let you go until you bless me.

Then the man asking the question. What is your name? Like, you're in a fight? And then, have you ever been in a fight? No one ever asked you in the middle of the fight. What is your name? That's just an unusual question to ask, isn't it? But not in the story because the last time Jacob was on, what is your name was with? Who everyone? When was the last time? Jacob was asked. What is your name? Who are you? With his father, Isaac Wright. And what did Jacob answer? Esau, and it was that question that led to all this trouble him lying, about who he was him. Trying to impersonate Esau. To take the blessing and God ask him again. What is your name? And this is where the scripture in and Moses. The author of the book of Genesis is trying to take us. Will Jacob answer honestly this time Because God can bless the person that you're trying to impersonate.

Are these some people and patents and things you're trying to impersonate. And Jacob has been trying to impersonate Esau this whole time because he wanted what he saw had, and God is saying Your Blessing doesn't come from in person. Eating your blessing comes from knowing who you really are

There is. Do you know who you really are? If God asked you that question. Are we trying to impersonate someone else? Or if God off, that's who I you. We would be honest with God and say, God, this is who I am, you know who I am. In fact, as Jacob, he's off this question. He responds and he says, I am Jacob. He's heading back. He's heading back home and before he can meet East Soul, God has to remind him of who he really is. You can't face your Easter until you're honest with who you are and many of us think the enemy is East. So that maybe the enemy is the battle within us because we're not being true to who God has called us to be Jacob. He's on his way home and he's going back through a posset, he's been before and he is what God is trying to illustrate to us I believe is this? Will it be different this time? Will it be different? This time. He's a question for you. Will 2023 be different to 20224 year. And the wonderful thing about God is this, that God will often give us a second chance. Jacob. You going to have the chance to answer this question correctly. Again. How will your respond? Have you learned anything from 2022 to give you a different path in 2023? There will be opportunities. God's going to give you a second chance. Aren't you? Glad that God is the god of Second Chances. Aren't you? Glad that God and Abel's used to say, hey, you going to run the first time, you got the quiz wrong, aren't you? Glad when professors give you another chance, aren't you? Glad when God gives you another chance as well when he says you messed up the first time. But hey, you get another round at this, you get another go at this. You get another chance to do things differently. This time. Can you turn to your neighbor and say, we're going to do a different this time. It's going to be different this time. It's not going to be the same as 2022. It's going to be different this time. 2023 will be different.

Sometimes to do things differently, you have to revisit the steps that you went through. As I mentioned to you, I was in Estrella, just a few weeks ago. And by the way, I had four people in, Estrella told me I sound American. I just need to clarify this year. I don't know what's happening. I'm losing my accent. You are to blame them. Just pray for me. I K, pray for me. so, Where there and one of the things I love doing is going to be amazing Mediterranean restaurant when I'm in Australia. If you want to know what it is. Come see me later. I love going there. It doesn't look impressive on the outside, but the food is amazing and I couldn't wait to go there and start Christina. And I went there, and I went with us a high school friend of mine that I hadn't seen in, in, like, 15 years.

I was there and we were eating and I was just enjoying my time. It's around Christmas time and we got there a little early but the restaurant became it began to get more busy. This has been to a place that I've been too many times and I guess everyone. Don't you hate it? When everyone finds out about the restaurant you found and now it's all busy and you having to wait for your meal and they're like, sorry, serve 10 minutes late. It's getting popular. That's that's good business for them. But I was there and and I was enjoying my mail catching up with my friend and it was getting so busy that I was sitting on my chair sitting on my chair like this.

And the person that did the group behind me came and there was a gentleman there and he kind of, kind of push my chair a little bit. He was just trying to make room. So what do you do when that happened? Don't you just tuck your chair in a little more under your table? That's what I did. Guess what happened again? Boom, goes full with a right going to move it again. Further, I got so far into my table, I look like like a three-year-old at Creek, Indie like, the table was like, up to hear my legs out here. I was on the corner of my eye. Cannot go any further. This is it. This is the farthest. I can go. And I'm just getting push like this. Now, We talked about doing things differently, right? Doing things differently. And so I looked over at Christina and lo and behold kid, you not his son is doing the same thing just going like this is Niecy, and she's just going, she's going sideways. And I'm like, wow, like father, like son, this is amazing. And so, I'm just thinking. Okay, Lord. Your wife will give you a look when your husband's know this. Look your wife will give you a look and the look was, it's time to go. It's time to go. It's time to leave this restaurant and I'm just holding on my chair and I'm like, Lord, I will not let go until you bless me. I will not like this. My patience is running thing. I will not let go. Okay, it's time to go. So I push my chair back. And he just goes like this. I'm like, oh no. Now I'm the bad guy now, I'm the bad guy and I could sense that he was looking behind me. Have you ever been patient so long and then you look like the bad guy. Like it's not me, it was him. And I could tell that, you know, this could be. It's on like Donkey Kong, okay? This could be that. This is not going to end well, so I just get up out of my seat. Now, you don't know how such wholesome one is when they sitting down, right? But when they stand up. So I stood up, I'm 64 one. He was a little short of. I think there was an angel behind me, and he just went back in his seat and he just said, are you okay? I said, yeah, I'm fine. I'm fine, we're just leaving now and then we were good, we were good. He's the thing there are times when I would maybe lose my patience and I needed to learn to do things differently. There are times where God will give you a second chance God will give you a second chance and say, will you do things differently? This Time. Jake is retracing his steps. He's going back home and God is saying I you going to do things differently and the reality is that Jacob is heading back and he has the opportunity to do things differently. As he met, Cecil will use the tightening of the world, oval he rely on God, and say, God, you're the one that will bless me. I want that for you right now. Have you ever felt like Jacobs, have you ever done something that you regretted and God is giving you a second chance in 2023? And God is saying You can do it differently this time. You can hold onto me. Do not let go of, you can do it differently this time. What happened in 2022 doesn't need to happen in 2023 and some of us are wrestling with God because we think that we can have strengthened our flesh. And God is saying, do it differently this time, don't do it in your strength, do it in my strength. Do it in my power, do it differently this time. And so Jacob is now coming off the mountain limping. And the Bible says, he said to him, what is your name? He said Jacob, and he said your name shall no longer be called Jacob, but Israel for you has struggled with God and with men and have prevailed, your name will no longer be called Jacob, it will be called Israel, but he's walking with a limp Here's the interesting thing in the Bible. That throughout the Bible. The name Jacob and Israel is still used. Let me give you an example of that. We're going to go to Isaiah. This is the final texty Isaiah. 43:1 much later off to look at what God says. But now. Says the Lord who created, you owe Jacob noticed this Thursday's the Lord who created you, who Jacob and who's for Israel being? Not for I have redeemed, you, I have called you by name, you are mine. If you look at this in the Hebrew, This phrase in the wood name is in the single. How many names are used. To write. He says name, but he's talking about names. Which one is it? Which one is it? Is it the Israel or the Jacob? Or maybe it's both. Maybe the Israel and the Jacob are both gods. He says, you are my So Jacob. Is hit on the hip and he's walking with a limp.

I-5 one twisted, my ankle playing basketball. I wish it was something exciting. Like I was dunking The Rim in someone's face and land it twisted. My ankle that would be a cool story, but it wasn't that I literally was just dribbling down the court and twisted. It was like, after four hours of playing, I think I was tired and I literally rolled my ankle and I was walking with a limp And the thing about when you have a limp, is you lead with your strong leg and your weak legs gets dragged. So you kind of walking like this, right? Strong weak, strong weak. I wonder.

Israel. Jacob Israel. Jacob Israel. Jacob Israel. Jacob which one is it? Could it be? That it's both. That I lead with Israel to know my future. And dragged Jacob to never forget my past to never forget where God has led me? Is it possible that God wants you to know, as you're going in 2023? As you are moving in 2023, you can leave with his rail, you have conquered, you can have Victory, you can have strength and Christ. He has transformed you, but as you're leading with Israel, don't forget your background that you also have a Jacob Vineyard. And the Temptation is this to think that God loves Israel. And Jacob is not his question tonight. Who did you bring two Vespas tonight? Was it the Israel or the Jacob? Yeah, we can move that, slide. That's wrong.

Which one did you bring? Which one did you bring? Did you bring the Israel or did you bring the Jacob or did you bring both? Because we can worship God if we just bring the Israel and not the Jacob. If we just say, God I'm going to pretend I'm going to impersonate. I'm going to try to be something that I'm not God says both mine to truly worship me. We need to bring the Israel and the Jacob. We need to bring the strength in God, but I also realize we have a weakness. God wants birth, both the mine and the Temptation and out, walking in our Christian Endeavor, and in 2023 will be God. You just want this side of me, but you don't want the other side of me, and we'll pretend with God, and pretend with something that went on. The thing about God, is this in Isaiah? He says, both of mine. both the Jacob and the Israel in you are my Are you willing to bring both the God? Are you willing to say, God? I'm walking with a limp, but even though I am weak posted then, I am strong. Jacob was able to face his Israel at the weakest point in his life because he relied on God, and he is the point. I believe the Bible is trying to illustrate to us. It's this who you really are is what you do at your weakest Point. What do I mean by that? It's easy to worship God, when things are going good, when we feel more like Israel. But the question is, when you're alone at night, when it's midnight, and you're wrestling, and you're fearful, and you're alone, and you're scared, and you're wondering what to do, and the Jake is the Israel in. You wants to pray, but the Jacobin you says, I'm not praying the Israel in year when things are going on that good wants to read the Bible, but the Jacob doesn't, the Israel wants to sing the Jacob. Doesn't that Israel wants to join a life group that Jacob doesn't the Israel wants to go to church that Jacob doesn't It's easy to worship God. When we feel like in Israel but I'll be able to worship God when we feel like a Jacob and this is why Jacob for sale cuz Addie's weakest points. He didn't let go. God, when I'm at my weakest Point, all I can do is hold on. I don't have nothing to offer. I have nothing to bring nothing to the cross. I bring only to the cross. I cling. Some of you may be going through a dock moment right now. Some of you may be going through a wrestling match right now.

Maybe. Esau isn't there to kill you. They may be a Esau coming in 2023 and you're afraid of it. You're scared of it. Esau is not there to kill you. Maybe he's so, is there to reveal that Israel in year? Maybe the heat. So is that a reveal who God has called you to be fine until you go through that dark moments? You'll never know who you are. You never discover the Israel in you and you keep thinking you're a Jacob. And God says, I've told you Israel my prayer for us this evening. Is that in 2023? We will not let go to soon, we will not let go. And if that is your prayer, If that is your prayer.

Take that time and say God, I want things to be different.

You need the lake of Jacob to keep you humble, but you need the strong leg of Israel. To keep you moving forward. Keep moving forward this year. Some of you were going to face a Esau, Esau is coming with 400 men. But you can face Esau because you haven't let go of God. Some of you may not know who you really are, but you know who you are, as you wrestle with God. There is an Israel inside of us. If we do not, let go, may God bless you in 2023 and my prayer is do not let go to soon.
