GOT PLANS?
The preparations of the heart in man,
And the answer of the tongue, is from the Lord.
2  All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes;
But the Lord weigheth the spirits.
3  Commit thy works unto the Lord,
And thy thoughts shall be established..... KJV
“ The PLANS of the heart belong to man....ESV
The Lord is my strength and song, And he is become my salvation: He is my God, and I will prepare him an habitation; My father’s God, and I will exalt him.
EX 15:2
Isaiah 62:10
Go through, go through the gates; prepare ye the way of the people;
Cast up, cast up the highway; gather out the stones;
Lift up a standard for the people.
Isaiah 64:4
For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, Neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, What he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him

15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
Good morning!
Today, on LIFEWORD TODAY, this first day of 2023, I have a LIFEWORD for you.
It is the word PLANS.
What kind of PLANS are you making for this first day of this New Year?
Have you made any resolutions?
Well, I have made a lot of PLANS, because I know that the LORD has PLANS for me.
Let me give you an ACRONYM to remind us, how we are to make our PLANS.
P. ERSONAL.
- Everyone has there own personal PLANS.
Sometimes we share that plan, other times, we keep it to ourselves.
Our plans usually are specific to our life, but we can join others in making PLANS to work together for a common goal.
Notice in this passage that the reference is to “man” and to"the LORD”.
This is a SHARED plan, PERSONAL to a man, and personal to the LORD.
L. ORD- Who is the Lord?
He is Jesus Christ, King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
The word “Lord” simply means, RULER.
Who is your RULER?
As LORD, He is both the author and the answer to all PLANS.
He is Creator and Sustainer of LIFE itself .
May I ask, is He your PERSONAL LORD AND SAVIOR?
A. nswer- We can make personal PLANS, they don’t always go as PLANNED.
Well, I have made a lot of PLANS, but they haven’t always worked out the way that I expected.
But, PLANS made according to God’s Purpose, will succeed.
N.ext- So, what is NEXT?
Well, it is the NEXT STEP....
S.TEP- Everyday, we are asked to make another STEP in the LIFE of FAITH.
Even if you are not a believer, and do not confess Jesus as your Savior and Lord, YOU ARE STEPPING OUT ON FAITH TODAY.
HOW? Look at the definition of FAITH IN ....
HEBREWS 11:1
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
In other words.... you make a step of FAITH, when you....
get dressed for work, expecting that your job is still there
-that your car will start
-that you will make it to work safely
-that your debit card will work, when you try to put gas it your car
and so on.....
So, think about your PLANS FOR TODAY, AND FOR NEXT YEAR, THE NEXT STEP.....OUR
