Read Matthew 1:18-25. Have there been moments this Christmas when you have felt all alone? Perhaps you have spent Christmas alone, for whatever reason. But we can feel lonely even when surrounded by family and friends.
The good news of Christmas is that however we feel, we are never alone. Matthew tells us that one of the names Jesus is called is Immanuel, which means God is with us. God came to earth in the person of Jesus Christ to remind you he is always with you, wherever you are and whatever circumstances you find yourself in.
Whether you are full of joy, celebrating Christmas and spending quality time with friends and family, or whether you feel stressed, in difficulty and abandoned, God is there with you. He will never abandon you. God knows what you are experiencing today – good or bad – and he cares about it, he understands it and he is experiencing it with you. You are never alone.

THINK IT OVER

Think about the following:
What can you do today to “tune in” to God’s presence with you?
