The 3 Realities of Running The Race of Life

Opposition Exists.
Satan is real.
You are have an enemy.
He is against you.
He hates you.
He is trying with all of his might to hinder you from obeying the truth of God.
Satan is try to cut in on you to keep you from obeying the truth.
2. Discipline is Required.
1 Timothy 4:7 NLT
7 Do not waste time arguing over godless ideas and old wives’ tales. Instead, train yourself to be godly.
3. Perception is Vital.
Results are governed by our choices.
Choices govern direction.
Direction governs transformation.
Who are you becoming?
Example: What food we eat? Healthy or unhealthy?
What direction we run? Towards the finishline or away for it?
1 Corinthians 9

24 Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. 25 Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever. 26 Therefore I do not run like someone running aimlessly; I do not fight like a boxer beating the air

Let us press on toward the upward call of God in Christ Jesus!
Let us forget what lies behind and strain forward to what awaits ahead!
Let press on with the heavenly goal that God has given us to win over his children to his kingdom!
