                                                Just do it

2 kings 5:1-14                                                                     2 Corinthians 2:14

Intro;  continue teaching on faith  and obedience. We know hhow faith is obtain, it comes by hearing…hearing is more than a sound coming to the ear, it’s receiving what is heard and applying it without questioning that which comes from God….The inner spirit man must receive the word of God to obtain the things that God has for those who love him…

This Corinthian passage reveals a key element to walking by faith…(1) Must be spiritually born again. Not based on your emotions, can be emotional and not be saved, can also be saved and CARNAL in which     your emotions are making decisions for you!!!

There are two kinds of spirits as there are two kinds of people in the world..

And on some occasions bpoth can be found in the church building…in services!!!!

Satan is the spirit of this world…Ephesians 2:1-3  And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.          Romans 6:16 (KJV)
16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?

Lost men have been given  a wisdom that inflates their egos and blinds their minds.. Blocks the simple truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ. The people of the world have a great deal of knowledge but no spiritual wisdom…..

Cannot see things in the spirit realm or discern things from a spiritual point of view!!! REACT   from their emotions, evaluate everything from a physical standpoint…..Easily  deceived by  the  adversary

Spiritual man is controlled by the Holy Spirit.

WATCH for false leaders, teachers…Titus 3:9-10   But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain.10 A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject;

A divisive person is one who makes a choice of pleasing himself.  Because in the carnal mind that is all he/she is hearing!!!!!!!!!

WHEN GOD SAYS: To receive, give, to live die, to go higher, humble yourself, that contrary to the world, carnal thinking…..

Naaman:  great man, distinguished captain of the host of the Syrian army, position and power, but he was a leper. Leprosy =castaway, shunned, moral and social reasons..

Servant girl gave him the solution to his problem:

Came to the man of God, was not afforded the privilege of a face to face meeting….”Go wash seven time in the Jordan”(The carnal mind always believe that that they deserve special treatment; don’t recognize in their lives!!!!!

Laodiceain  Church: Revelation 3:17   Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:

Elisha; “have him come to me” (Naaman wanted to wash in the rivers of Damascus…The rivers of Damascus would cleanse him from dirt but not from sin…

Being a Baptist, Methodist, any other denomination, or religious order will not cleanse you from sin….Only the blood of JESUS CHRIST!!!

We are like Naaman; He though washing in the Jordan was silly many believe that this Jesus thing is too easy, THINK there must be something else we have to do,  Be ina certain building, join a certain church in a special click…wear certain clothes to get God to like us!!!!
