INTRODUCTION

What does the future hold for you?
In many ways, we approach the whole book of Revelation with that question in mind.
But tonight, we are faced with it in a very pointed way.
As the fifth trumpet sounds, it is a warning to all of humanity to be sure of what the future holds for your soul.
Is your future tied to the victory of Christ or the destruction of Satan?
Is your future sealed and in glory or is your future left wide open to the wrath-filled judgment of God for the sin you have committed against Him?
And as we deal with these difficult questions, we will also try to sort out a theological issue that has challenged believers for centuries.

CONTEXT

The last time we left off in Revelation, we saw an eagle flying overhead crying, “Woe, woe, woe.”
