Christ the Compassionate

Matthew 9:35–38 NKJV
35 Then Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people. 36 But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd. 37 Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. 38 Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”

1. Teaching the gospel & Healing.

Matthew 9:35 NKJV
35 Then Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.
in the gospel of Matthew, the sermon on the mount comes before the miracles.
why because truth is where the power actually is.
John 10:10 NKJV
10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.
The enemy gets in your mind.
you have to keep your mind.
2 Corinthians 10:3–5 NKJV
3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. 4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, 5 casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,
Romans 12:1–2 NKJV
1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
John 14:12 NKJV
12 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.
the above scripture is the reason that I can preach with confidence is because I know the grace of God.
This is why i can tell you keep on doing the right thing because it coming,
in the last three years i have seen things come faster then I have ever seen them happen before.

2. Jesus Has compassion for their lack of guidance.

Matthew 9:36 NKJV
36 But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd.
Discipleship, not not information is they key.
living life, is not the same as quoting a verse.
its one thing to talk about forgiveness, its a whole other thing to forgive.
I’m not talking about lying about forgiving people, I’m talking about thinking that you have forgiven, then something comes up and you realize you have not.
you need a pastor who believes God and believes in you.
Jeremiah 3:15 NKJV
15 And I will give you shepherds according to My heart, who will feed you with knowledge and understanding.
Ephesians 4:11–12 NKJV
11 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, 12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ,
equipped for ministry for sure but also equipped for life.
“ I Believe”
Again, I believe that God is no respecter of persons .
I believe that what ever you sow you will also reap.
Galatians 6:7 NKJV
7 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.
if you reap obedience then you will reap the benefits of obedience
The Lord Has things for you to walk in.
he has things for you to do.
he will not force you to walk in them you have to say yes to him
Ephesians 2:10 NKJV
10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

3. The fields are white with harvest.

Matthew 9:37 NKJV
37 Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few.
Most people do’t need a theology.
They need to see it.
the need to see it in us.
the need to see it in us.
they need to taste and see that the Lord is good.
God has gone above and beyond for most of the people in this Church.
I can and will go to court with the people who need things but God doesn’t front.
we have to do the work.
if we want a different harvest we need to change what we are sowing.
we have to live different.
then people will see what God can do and want to walk in what you are walking in.
as you go through your life doing what it is God has you doing then people will fallow you to the cross and find Jesus healing and the kingdom.
