Proverbs 16:33 – Sovereignty of God
God's Control
God is in control of all circumstances of life.
Rulers only govern under His rule (21:1).
We must understand that God's rule is absolute.
Safety
If God were not sovereign, we would be in despair.
Because He is in control, we know where to turn in trouble (18:10).
In God, we have a safety that leads to peace and boldness.
Meaning
We should never fight against God's plans.
We should be actively seeking those plans.
True life is being a part of what God is doing.
Think about it
Are you acknowledging God's rule over all things?
Are you experiencing the safety that only He brings?
Are you living out the role that God has for you in His story?
