God Has An Inheritance For All his Children
The Bible is The Book of Promises
Last Will & Testament- Containing Your Inheritance
-A will or testament is a legal document that expresses a person's (testator) wishes as to how their property (estate) is to be distributed after their death
Caleb- Recieved His InHeritance
- Wholly followed God - to be filled up with, be full off- no room for anything else
Caleb was full of God, His word, his purpose. There was no room for fear to take hold of him. It was all around him but there was no room for it in his life.
Half Hearted- they do it without any real effort, interest, or enthusiasm. someone whose heart is not really in what they are doing.

The Carnal/Natural Man- Enemy of God Romans 8:6-8 NIV “The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace. The mind governed by the flesh is hostile to God; it does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so. Those who are in the realm of the flesh cannot please God.”
Flesh- Carnal- Sinful side + Natural-influenced by world
Spirit- Born again- Born of the Spirit
Death And Life & Peace- Evidence of which is Governing
Mind- Thinking part of your Kardia- Thought life
Govern- to rule over something with authority- Governors follow a template or rule book given by a higher authority
Your Words Identify Whos Governing- Matthew 12:34 (NKJV) 34 Brood of vipers! How can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.- Your words will show who is in power in your mind. You may not notice but the world around you will.
-The powers of darkness will notice
- Creation will notice-
-The power you have as someone who has been made in the image of God will notice
The Battle Field of The Mind-
The War of Who Governs- Spirit or The Flesh
War- a state of open and declared armed hostile conflict between states or nations
Surrender- to give up fighting, to given to your enemy
Giving Up- Lost hope, Lost strength, overwhelmed, fatigue
Strength For War-
The ability to keep fighting for what God has promised
Joshua 14:10-15 (NKJV): 9 So Moses swore on that day, saying, ‘Surely the land where your foot has trodden shall be your inheritance and your children’s forever, because you have wholly followed the Lord my God.’
10 And now, behold, the Lord has kept me alive, as He said, these forty-five years, ever since the Lord spoke this word to Moses while Israel wandered in the wilderness; and now, here I am this day, eighty-five years old. 11 As yet I am as strong this day as on the day that Moses sent me; just as my strength was then, so now is my strength for war, both for going out and for coming in.
Joshua 14:12 (NKJV) 12 Now therefore, give me this mountain of which the Lord spoke in that day; for you heard in that day how the Anakim were there, and that the cities were great and fortified. It may be that the Lord will be with me, and I shall be able to drive them out as the Lord said.”
Strength- potential ability to excert power- authority- might-strength
War- a state of continuos battle
Your Mountain- Your Inheritance- Your destiny - the place you are to glorify God and shine His light in the generation you have been placed in
Joshua Needed To See The Commander of The Army of God To Take his Mountain Joshua 5:13-15 NKJV 13 And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted his eyes and looked, and behold, a Man stood opposite him with His sword drawn in His hand. And Joshua went to Him and said to Him, “Are You for us or for our adversaries?”
14 So He said, “No, but as Commander of the army of the Lord I have now come.” And Joshua fell on his face to the earth and worshiped, and said to Him, “What does my Lord say to His servant?”
15 Then the Commander of the Lord’s army said to Joshua, “Take your sandal off your foot, for the place where you stand is holy.” And Joshua did so.”
For The Weapons of Our Warfare Aren”t Carnal
2 Corinthians 10:3–6 (NKJV) 3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. 4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, 5 casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, 6 and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.
