Mark 2:1–12 (ESV)
1 And when he returned to Capernaum after some days, it was reported that he was at home. 2 And many were gathered together, so that there was no more room, not even at the door. And he was preaching the word to them. 3 And they came, bringing to him a paralytic carried by four men. 4 And when they could not get near him because of the crowd, they removed the roof above him, and when they had made an opening, they let down the bed on which the paralytic lay. 5 And when Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, “Son, your sins are forgiven.” 6 Now some of the scribes were sitting there, questioning in their hearts, 7 “Why does this man speak like that? He is blaspheming! Who can forgive sins but God alone?” 8 And immediately Jesus, perceiving in his spirit that they thus questioned within themselves, said to them, “Why do you question these things in your hearts? 9 Which is easier, to say to the paralytic, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Rise, take up your bed and walk’? 10 But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins”—he said to the paralytic— 11 “I say to you, rise, pick up your bed, and go home.” 12 And he rose and immediately picked up his bed and went out before them all, so that they were all amazed and glorified God, saying, “We never saw anything like this!”
True Faith Will Make You Do Crazy Things
faith will make you see and experience some crazy things too.
Lilly’s faith is a crazy faith, we all can learn from.
Lilly’s Car park in Florida story
Lilly’s Prayer to get me sick
2 Corinthians 5:7 (ESV)
7 for we walk by faith, not by sight.
Romans 10:17 (ESV)
17 So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.
Be Prepared to face controversy
John 16:33 (ESV)
33 I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”
Don’t let it take your focus when it comes
Titus 3:9–11 (ESV)
9 But avoid foolish controversies, genealogies, dissensions, and quarrels about the law, for they are unprofitable and worthless. 10 As for a person who stirs up division, after warning him once and then twice, have nothing more to do with him, 11 knowing that such a person is warped and sinful; he is self-condemned.
The worst thing we can bring to a religious controversy is anger.
Matthew Henry
Be Able To Make A Defense
1 Peter 3:14–15 (ESV)
14 But even if you should suffer for righteousness’ sake, you will be blessed. Have no fear of them, nor be troubled, 15 but in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect,
Express your Faith / Don’t Hide it
It is my opinion that many have the thought that doing things like praying, worshiping, preaching, and talking about God, are things that we don’t do in public.
i look around it supprised me when i see a couple or family pray over their meal, not when they don’t
I see people confess faith with friends but never with a stranger
I see people all the time danceing and singing to all kinds of songs, but worshiping in the street, no we don’t do that here
I have been to churches that you dont worship how you feel because they will come up to tell you we dont do this here.
There is so much of our faith that we feel is out of place to do around others, so we dont.
I feel that this has largely lead to a lot of the issues that we are facing today.

Deconstruction

All have been on the rise, but if we lived out our christian princiables, shared or faith, and surved our community, we would see a difference
you are here agreeing with this but are You willing to move
We need to go past saying it, and start being it
We need to be in our Bibles, In Our Prayer closets, and in our community for it to change.
Romans 1:16–17 (ESV)
16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. 17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith for faith, as it is written, “The righteous shall live by faith.”
Faith in Scripture is twofold in meaning. There is the faith that asks and the faith that accepts. The faith that asks is expressed in petition; the faith that accepts is expressed in thanksgiving.
