What shall we conclude then? Do we have any advantage? Not at all! For we have already made the charge that Jews and Gentiles alike are all under the power of sin.

Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, so that every mouth may be silenced and the whole world held accountable to God.
the law now extends to everyone not just he Jews
every mouth, the whole world is now accountable to God
Therefore no one will be declared righteous in God’s sight by the works of the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of our sin.
righteousness is not achieved by the works of the law
the law is full of grace - it comes from God himself
our sinful nature before Christ rejects the grace in the law
it attempts to fulfill the law by works alone
sinful man cannot achieve perfect obedience
we know sin because we cannot attain the righteousness demanded by grace

This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference between Jew and Gentile, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
we can be discouraged and disillusioned if this is all we read of Chapter 3
the devil wishes to steal our destiny our hope away
he wants us to stay in the bandage of sin
endless pursuit through works of the law
