Isaiah

Isaiah preached to Judah and gave more prophecies than any other prophet regarding the coming Messiah. He referred to the Messiah as the Suffering Servant and Conquering King. Isaiah lived and prophesied 100 years before the Babylonian captivity. At a time when the northern kingdom of Israel had be conquered by the Assyria’s.
We need to gloss over some of the thing that Isaiah said and talked about. We have forgotten what this time of year really means.
The importance of Isaiah’s prophecies during the Advent season cannot be overstated. The promises of God’s coming Savior can be seen at various times throughout the text. More than that, Isaiah shows us that God has always heard the cry of his people.

A good leader has the ability to be oriented toward truth and reality. Lot of us have biases and blind spots. We put on blinders so we can’t see thing happening around us. This blinders can be past experiences that change our vision on how we see others around us. A leader can’t have blinders on. A real leader is more than being honest.
