Isaiah preached to Judah and gave more prophecies than any other prophet regarding the coming Messiah. He referred to the Messiah as the Suffering Servant and Conquering King. The importance of Isaiah’s prophecies during the Advent season cannot be overstated. The promises of God’s coming Savior can be seen at various times throughout the text. More than that, Isaiah shows us that God has always heard the cry of his people.
