• IMPORTANT! Temptation is not sin. It is the “bait” that entices us toward sin.

The “But God” Principle:
Temptations of many kinds are all around us, enticing us toward sin. This presents a great struggle, but God is faithful. He is always present to help us resist and endure. – 1 Corinthians 10:13
• Two temptations I face frequently, that are great struggles for me:

1. WE HAVE THE HOLY SCRIPTURES. v. 1-12

2. WE HAVE A FAITHFUL GOD. v. 13
– He knows and guards our limits.
– He provides a way out.
– He helps us resist and endure.
• Because of this “but God” principle, all excuses for giving in to temptation have now been eliminated.
• So, what are we going to do?
