<<Bob Faubel, Video Story–Immediately following the end of prayer in worship>>

Let’s Go Find Our People: Discovering your person.

I’M GOING TO BECOME THE PERSON GOD WANTS TO USE

FIGHTING ISOLATION: - “It’s not good for man to be alone”

When we choose to isolate for more than just stopping the spread of a virus, we become incredibly self centered
Fear has become one of the strongest emotions in the previous 2 years, more than I’ve ever seen or experienced before.
However, God never intended people to be isolated and alone.
His purpose from beginning, throughout and into the end will always be that people pursue people for the purpose of the gospel message and the grand finale that takes place in heaven.
Until that happens there will always be a yearning in your heart to be at complete peace and rest together with jesus.
But up till then, you get to choose people.

That time must come to an end for two reasons. 1) Our own health. Jennie Allen points out in her book, Find Your People, that isolation is the leading contributor to our greatest problem today, LONELINESS. There are more, negative far-reaching effects from loneliness on our mentality than other harmful substances like smoking and alcohol (probably because loneliness leads to other substance abuses)

2) Because the mission with which we were commissioned begins to relax and be left undone is when isolation sets in.

Acts 13:1-15- “Now there were in the church...” - They are fasting, worshiping, praying and seeking the Lord.

We have to be very careful that we do not prevent what the Spirit of the Lord wants to do because we have an agenda that we feel needs to be done.

Becoming the person God wants to use requires some self-improvement. It necessitates our pursuit of the Gifts and Fruit of the Spirit
Safe People, You are what you think

Develop Team- Identify people that peak your interest and pursue them

If you never get around to serving the Lord, you’ve just wasted your whole life.

Every action of our lives should be processed along with the filter of who am I going to encounter that needs Jesus?
