Ministry to the masses (miracles) and multiplying yourself in the few people (discipleship).

Matthew 9:35–37 NKJV
Then Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people. But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd. Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few.
If you have miracles - you will have a crowd.
If you have disciples - you have a future.
We need both miracles and discipleship. Without power of God - we are mistaken. Without purpose of God - we are misled.
Both extremes: Cessationism and Sensationalism

Discipleship without deliverance ends in defeat.

John 11:43–45 (NKJV)
43 Now when He had said these things, He cried with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come forth!” 44 And he who had died came out bound hand and foot with graveclothes, and his face was wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to them, “Loose him, and let him go.”
45 Then many of the Jews who had come to Mary, and had seen the things Jesus did, believed in Him.

Deliverance without discipleship ends in disobedience.

Matthew 21:2 NKJV
2 saying to them, “Go into the village opposite you, and immediately you will find a donkey tied, and a colt with her. Loose them and bring them to Me.
Matthew 21:10 NKJV
10 And when He had come into Jerusalem, all the city was moved, saying, “Who is this?”

You can’t get discipled if you are not delivered but you can get delivered and never go into discipleship.

Deliverance is what God does for you, discipleship is what God does in you.
Deliverance without discipleship is a big chest, small legs.
Deliverance without discipleship is like getting out of Egypt and never entering the promised land but getting stuck in wilderness.
Deliverance - Discipleship - Destiny

1. Love God, obey commandments.

John 14:15 (NKJV)
15 “If you love Me, keep My commandments.
Matthew 28:19–20 NKJV
19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.
We love to claim the LO without living out the GO!

2. Love people, preach the gospel.

Mark 16:15 NKJV
15 And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.

3. Grow up

Hebrews 5:12 NKJV
12 For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the first principles of the oracles of God; and you have come to need milk and not solid food.
The Natural Process of Maturity:
Born in the hospital.
Belongs in home.
Build in school.
Becomes an adult (start my own family).
This is not supernatural. This is not special. This is not rocket science. This is not for elite. This is not for special people. This is normal.

4. Multiply, Don’t Maintain

Matthew 25:16 (NKJV)
16 Then he who had received the five talents went and traded with them, and made another five talents.
Matthew 25:21 (NKJV)
21 His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’
Exodus 1:10 NKJV
10 come, let us deal shrewdly with them, lest they multiply, and it happen, in the event of war, that they also join our enemies and fight against us, and so go up out of the land.”
The devil will throw everything at you so that you don’t multiply so that he can steal the future.
Preservation protects my comfortable life but it also prevents future Moses from being born.
Move from growing the church to building people!

5. The Power is for the Purpose.

Acts 1:8 NKJV
8 But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”
