1 Corinthians 5:7
It’s not about feeling better but thinking better!
1. YOUR LIFE WILL CHANGE IF YOU DON’T THINK ON THE LEVEL OF YOUR FEELINGS It’s not about feeling better but thinking better!
Net Example
- Don’t lower yourself to the level of the net to catch the fish!
- Don’t put your faith in your feelings, put your faith in the word of God!
- You can’t control your feelings is when you are in them!
- Satan will use your own emotions to entrap you
- Satan can’t control a person who is ruled by the word of God
- You can control the net if you are in the boat, but you can’t control the net if you are in the net!
Grave Example:
- Think on the level of life when you feel on the level of death
- Give your self permission to think higher than what you feel
- Tell your feelings, you are my slave but not my master!
Train Example - Spiritual person lives by faith though he has feelings, fleshly person lives by feelings, though he has faith
2. HOLY SPIRIT MOVES ON THE TRACKS OF YOUR THOUGHTS
Heart is the train station. Holy Spirit is the train. Thoughts are tracks!
“To the extend that we think the thoughts of God, we will walk in the power of God”
“Holy Spirit will not do anything in your life by passing your mind”
Thoughts must proceed from faith. Faith proceeds from what you feed yourself with!
Honey Example: “You are what you eat”! Eve ate bad and then lost a paradise, Daniel ate good and gained promotion Story Example: Janitor to Principle - “Change your mind, Change your life”
3. YOU CAN’T SOLVE THE PROBLEM WITH THE SAME MIND WITH WHICH YOU CREATED IT
Story Example: Lady who had sickness
Romans 12:2
