Test of Time We don't need to defend ourselves, because we have a defender The God who raises the dead, is my God, and He will rescue me today, and He will rescue me in the future Luke 15:12-13; Acts 6:1-7 If in your blessing you depart from God like prodigal son, your blessing will not stand test of time Prodigal son wasted it with compromise Older son never touched it, like servant who dug his gift Man with 5 talents multiplied it What you receive from God is seed not fruit, it has potential for multiplication and abuse We need God in our healing as much as in our sickness We need God in our blessing as much as in our lack We need God in our singleness as much as in our marriage We need God in our career as much as in our unemployment We need God in our freedom as much as in our addiction We need God in our influence as much as in our being not known If in blessing you depart from God, sin will be impossible to resist If in blessing you depart from God, your blessing will not stand test of time If in blessing you depart from God, your blessing will exit as fast as it entered If in blessing you depart from God, your blessing will never be multiplied Apostles, had nothing but closest to God, blessing came....busyness....slowly less time for prayer, less passion, they said WE NEED GOD AFTER PENTECOST AS BEFORE PENTECOST....things continued to multiply TB Joshua in blessing, prosperity, miracles, criticism, it did not drew him away from God into politics or into materialism...more time for prayer....presidents don't determine his course....miracles multiply....influence grows Martin Luther....I'm so busy, I have to pray today 3 hours... Jim Baker....great ministry....heart departs from Lord, sin is hard to resist....sin brings destruction..... Blessing is an invitation to seek God the more, love Him the more Blessing raises a bar for higher and deeper devotion to God When branches grow and roots shrink, tree will be too heavy, it will fall If Gods presence does not excite you, pigs will be our portion If bread is tasteless, pigs food will be your lot
