LOSING A BATTLE WITHOUT LOSING A LIFE
Proverbs 18:10
Fight with God or fight against God
Pride puts God against you, humility puts God with you
God has no battles, no enemies, we do
We waste energy fighting God instead of devil
Fighting people is waste of time. Fighting a skunk. You can’t throw dirt without getting hands dirty
You would not win every battle
Goal in basketball is not to win every quarter but to win the game
Whoever wins at the end wins the battle
Finish strong, it’s not how you start, but how you finish…in running, finishing not starting…

Hiding from God or hiding in God. You can’t hide from God. You can’t outrun God. Adam hid from God, David hid in God…Jonah run from God, prodigal son ran to God
