You’re Fired!
“…Because you rejected the word of the Lord, He also has rejected you from being king.” 1 Samuel 15:23
Rom.5:17 “reign in life”
We were created in God’s image
We were created to have dominion
We were created to multiply what we have
Saul was Israel’s king, God was Saul’s king
When God’s word has no place in your life, what you had dominion over will have dominion over you
The way you treat God’s word, is the way God will treat you
We don’t reject God’s word we replace it (Adam’s story)
When you get fired as a king, Satan hires you as a slave
Saul couldn’t fight battles cause he wasn’t a king no more
“…but on this one will I look: one him who is poor and of a contrite spirit, and who trembles at My word.” Isaiah 66:2
“Your word I have hidden in my heart that I might not sin against You.” Ps.119:11
“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” Ps.119:105
“Man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.” Mat.4:4
