BEING PRODUCTIVE IN THE PRISON
There is a Reason for every Season Nature & Sport & Media Seasons Don’t skip through grades in school There is pressure on the top
God can use you in the most unlikely circumstances John Bunyan wrote “pilgrim’s progress” in jail Apostle Paul wrote most of his epistles in prison God showed up to Peter while he was in jail
Right attitude will always bring high altitude Joseph was success in jail Success is not about altitude but about attitude You’re not failure because you’re in hardships Success is realizing it’s not what happened to me it’s what’s happening in me Paul and Silas attitude brought them out of jail John the Baptist was fearful and doubting while being in jail (self pity party)
Miracles Can Happen In Prison Jesus healed in Garden. Jesus evangelized on the cross Job prayed for healing being sick himself. Abraham prayed for miracles of fruitfulness being himself barren
Three Steps To Productivity: 1. God was with Joseph God is the God of hills and God of valleys Flame don’t remove Him. Valleys don’t intimidate Him Don’t demand an explanation live in realization Gideon: “The Lord is with you” while you’re hiding. Jacob: “God is with you” while you’re running Elisha saw God while servant saw problems. Open your eyes Microscope mind-set that magnifies the small things 2. Joseph worked God can’t prosper what you don’t do Steps, not sitting of the righteous man is ordered by the Lord God will bless the work of your hands not the idleness of your hands God says bring me empty vessels. Give me bone. Give me loaf of bread. Give me water Man who didn’t have a job but walked everyday and did what he could Charles Darrow who did something and God honored his work Build a house on your foundation Righteous is like tree whatever he does he shall prosper 3. God blessed everything Joseph did Shammah defended the field of beans and the Lord brought victory God will order your steps. Work of your hands will prosper. You will prosper what you do. No weapon will be successful
Don’t postpone your blessing for tomorrow Don’t postpone the miracle for tomorrow Don’t let your affliction stop your production
