My Father’s Business
“…Did you not know that I must be about My Father’s business?” Luke 2:49
Jesus what do you for living? Oh, I am just helping with My Dad’s Business
If your heart is not in the Father’s business you would call it Egypt (Luke 15:25-32)
Provision belongs to the sons that are involved in the Father’s business (John 4:36)
Those who do Father’s business for money are those who are in the Father’s business but in their own
Father’s business will prosper even if none of His sons will be involved in it
His business needs to be valuable to you because He is your Father
God doesn’t hire servants but sons to do His business
The greatest thing about doing the Father’s business is you will never do it alone because He is along side of you (John 5:17)
Whatever belongs to your Father is yours and whatever belongs to you is your Father’s (Luke 15:31)
Father is not idle but busy working (John 5:17)
Father doesn’t require you to do anything He Himself doesn’t do (John 5:19)
Love, give, listen, answer, do good, save, protect, feed, provide, forgive, restore, heal, deliver, be perfect and holy
Father desires you to do only what He does (John 5:19-21)
The job description of every son is to imitate his Father (John 5:30)
Father’s business needs to be so important to us as bread to our bodies (John 4:34)
Older son wasn’t imitating his father (Luke 15:25)
You don’t need to be in church to do Father’s business
Credit for the business goes to the Father
Father will be glorified if you bear much fruit John 15:8
They will glorify God seeing your good works Mt.5
