John 11:1-3, 11, 38-44
Lazarus is sick –
Untreated sickness resulted in death
Pain is a signal that you’re sick & need to go to the doctor
Don’t remove the light bolt when you need to put gas in the car
Going to the right Doctor
Don’t go to the doctor when you’re dead but go when you are still sick
Sick don’t go to the businessman
Going to the doctor because of not knowing the cause and solution for pain
The Great Physician (Mt.8:13-14)
Doctors don’t refuse the sick but healthy
Doctor is 24/7 open, everyone, any time, anywhere and free
Doctor is able, skillful, successful and compassionate
He is not one visitor doctor but for a lifetime
Lazarus is dead –
Death comes when we pull ourselves from environment
Fish – water; tree – soil; birds – sky; branch – vine; body – oxygen
Man’s environment is the presence of God
When did prodigal son die? (Luke 15:24)
Freedom/success/life cannot be found outside of your environment
Your relationship with God is reflected in your relationship with Church
Dead are bound
It’s almost impossible to bind man alive
Dead stink
Tormented by the demons or tormenting demons
Pursuing God or being pursued by the devil
Living as under curse or keeping evil under feet
Lazarus is sleeping –
What you live for will it be worth in ten, thirty, fifty years from now?
What would you do if you would have six hours to live?
What would be important at your death bed?
Do you live life that was worth Christ dying for?
Three stages of life: in the womb, on the earth and in heaven
Because of His love He sounds the wake up alarm
