FASTING
10% of your time belongs to God.
Matthew 6:17-18
“when” not “if”
Father will reward publicly or openly.

There is type of fasting that is with separation.
Practicing Sabbath, the day of rest.
Fasting abstaining from food by choice for religious purposes
Prepare yourself for fasting with food if you are going on long fast.
During fasting spend as much time in prayer and the word.
During fasting you will be attacked. Don’t lead on your emotions.
During fasting you can do all other things that are possible.
During fasting you can have headache.
During eating the energy of your blood is concentrated on digesting the food for 2-3 hours. That is why other parts of the body will not function as well.
During fasting you can experience pain and hunger. It’s not you, it’s your stomach that is programmed by the habit of eating. Just lie to him but drinking water.
During fasting do not advertise your fasting.
Goal for fasting
humble our soul
Psalm 35:13 “I humbled my soul with fasting”
draw closer to God receive revelation know the will of God concerning our life seeking healing
Isaiah 58:8 “your healing shall spring forth speedily”
need God’s supernatural invasion intercede and pray for others
The length of fasting
Start will little or else you will be discouraged after failing a long fast.
The goal is not the length of the fast but result of the fast.
The motives for fasting are more important than the length of the fast.
