“Thankful for Blisters”

Psalm 126:6

1) The Psalms of David are filled with fear, tears, and suffering, but they always end in joy and peace.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

2) We need to be grounded in our faith, because when we cannot “feel” anything, we need to KNOW the truth.

Psalm 126:6

3) The Book of Psalms shows us that we should not deny or vent our feelings, but PRAY.

4) We all want to be like Christ, but we don’t want His suffering or things to go wrong. Jesus was a man of sorrows. If we want to be like Christ, we need to expect tears.

5) If we go out sowing our tears, we will have a harvest of joy.

Psalm 130:5

6) God understands how we speak when we are desperate.

Romans 8:18

Psalm 107:1
