Let Us Pray Like Jesus Instructed - Matthew 6:9-13

I. The God who is Father. (9A; John 1:12-13; Gal. 4:4-6).

Meets my need for a close relationship.

II. The God who is Lord. (9B; Eccl. 5:2).

Meets my need for perspective.

III. The God who is ruler. (10; Rev. 11:15; Luke 22:41-42).

Meets my need for submission.

IV. The God who cares. (11; Matt. 10:29-31).

Meets my need for provision.

V. The God who delivers. (12-13).

1. From sin - meets my need for forgiveness.

2. From sinful situations - meets my need for protection. (I Cor. 10:13).

VI. The God who is invincible*. (13B; I Chron. 29:11)

Meets my need for assurance.

I will pray meaningfully and live close to God.
