Therefore

Look to Christ as our example.
Think about suffering the same way Jesus did.
Our thinking impacts our decision making.
Having the issue settled in our hearts prepares us for when we have to make a decision.
Choose suffering (or hardship) over sin.
Temptation to compromise:
In business
In marriage
In finances
In church life
Chose to live for the will of God and not human passions.

Sufficient time has been given to living as the world.

Sensuality
Passions
Drunkenness
Orgies
Drinking parties
Lawless idolatry

Do we shock the world in how we live?

Shock
Shock leads to maligning us

Remember the end

The sinful will be judged.
Psalm 73:1-2 “Truly God is good to Israel, to those who are pure in heart. But as for me, my feet had almost stumbled, my steps had nearly slipped.”
The gospel was preached to those who are dead?
