“A Season of Struggling”
Just like There’s Physical seasons
In life
Winter — Spring — Summer — Fall
There are different
Seasons for the christian
That we go thru
And just to encourage you
You need to remind yourself
That there are 5 seasons of the christian life
Winter—Spring—Summer—Fall—My Season
And no matter
What season you’re in
you will need Faith
But remember this
Because each season is different
That means your Faith
Is going to be different
From season to season [ Explain ]
One season you might have :
Wavering faith — James 1:6
Small faith — Matthew 17:20
Great faith — Matthew 8:10
Strong faith — Romans 4:20
No faith — Mark 4:35-41
There’s good seasons
And there’s bad seasons
And there’s So So seasons
But each season serves a PURPOSE
Some seasons
It will make you
Throw your fist at God
Some seasons
Make you wanna
Just lay down and die
But God will use seasons
To build our faith
And to develop us
In certain areas of our lives
In other words God will allow it to get stormy in our life
But we have to
Take each season
With a smile
Because God controls each season
There’s two words that describe time;
1st: Chronos
2nd: Kairos
Chronos—gives us the word chronological
Chronological—mean one thing after another
Chronological suggest that Tuesday come after Monday
Chronos suggest things have to go in an orderly fashion
But God doesn’t operate on Chronos time
God operates on Kairos time
Kairos time is this
No matter how comfortable
you get
With one particular season
you’re going to have
To get used of the different
Changing of seasons in life
[Because nothing stays the same always]
The Marriage — The Job — The Finances— The Ministry
God is not going
To allow us
To experience seasons
That’s always successful
With Fun—Favor—Finances
God is not going
To allow us to always
live in a season
That’s Free of Tearless eyes—Stressless days—Restful nights
But God is going to allow us
To experience seasonal changes
We can expect
To cry some tears—walk some floors—carry some burdens—have some headaches—some folks to smile in our face—talk behind our back
Because seasons will change
In Mark 6
We discover that
The disciples are not
handling the season well
In which the Lord
Has allowed them to experience
They don’t have faith for the season
In verses 30-44
The disciples are in
A season of success
In verses 30-44
The disciples in that
Section of scripture
They’re in a season
That every child of God
Would love to live in always
They are in a successful season
1st: Because the Ministry is Prospering
Verse 39-40
Now Verse 44 says
“ (Just men) “ so many people
We would love
To have this type
of success in our
