!!! Willingly

!!! Have suffered the loss of all (v8)

!!!! Matthew 13:44-46 “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field.

45 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls: 46 Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it.”

What Is Worth Such Loss (v8) “for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord:”

!! Just to know Him!

!!! Ephesians 1:16-17 “Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers; 17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: “

What Is There To Gain

!! Relationship – (v8) “that I may win Christ,”

!! Right Living  (V9) “And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:”

!! Power To Live Right (V10) “That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; “

!!! Romans 8:11 “But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.”

!! Fellowship in Your Hard Times (v10) “and the fellowship of his sufferings”
