1 John - Abide

 "Abide" is a fitting follow-up to our previous series on the book of Galatians. In that study the Apostle Paul encouraged the church of Galatia to "live by the Spirit", "be led by the Spirit", and "keep in step with the Spirit". 1 John gives us direction on how this is to occur, namely, by abiding in Christ. The word abide or it's synonyms appear repeatedly throughout John's letter.  Additionally, we will see how John combated some of the major heresies the church was facing in that day.
