Not Ashamed Of The Gospel Romans 1:14-17 Are we ever ashamed of the gospel of Christ...? Embarrassed to tell others about Jesus? Could this be a reason why many are not active in personal evangelism? We often find God's words and actions don't make sense. They are illogical and counterintuitive. In this scripture passage Peter encounter a series of counterintuitive statements made by Jesus and felt embarrassed. Jesus said it was because he did not set his mind on the "divine things," but on "human things." Then, how do we develop the divine mindset so that our thoughts and actions will be aligned with Christ? The sermon wrestles with ways to develop divine mindset in light of this passage (Mark 8:27-38). Enjoy and feel free to discuss with me and give me your comments.
Grace and peace!
