As our complete pattern and example, Jesus was born "among his brethren" and "made in all points like we are", "learned obedience from the things which He suffered", thereby perfecting his character. He then died, was resurrected by God, judged and glorified. This pattern shows what we have to look forward to as well! Today, we focus on the resurrection as it pertains to God's plan, and in particular from Job's point of view. We take his perspective since it helps to underscore the fact that this was God's plan from the beginning - even before Jesus was born. Job prophesied about a redeemer, speaking of Him as though he already was. We are ALL mortal, and will eventually die – nothing we can do except be servants of God, then we’ll have hope in a future resurrection.
Join us to learn about Job’s heartfelt, overwhelming joy as he looked forward to a full bodily resurrection, and the evidence that backs this!
