As a young Christian, new to the faith, Genesis 3:9, 11a puzzled me; God was asking questions as if He did not know the answers. It would take many years before I understood what God was doing, and by then, I had moved on to more puzzling and not so puzzling Scriptures. Here is how God revealed what…
Today is sermon 2 from our Believe series - after this we’ll have 28 more to go! The topic this week is God is personal . Of the 4,200 religions in the world, the Judeo-Christian faith is largely unique in the fact that God reveals Himself, God is knowable, He’s near, He’s active in our lives and He…
In the beginning, God created mankind to rule over his perfect, harmonious creation. We were born to rule as God's special regents. Even now, despite the mess we have made of things, God calls us to be overcomers--conquerers. He values us so highly, that not only has he not given up on us, he's invited us to rule with him for eternity. Don't believe it? Listen to this message and explore what the Bible tells us. Romans: The Righteous Shall Live By Faith
Christians are at war with the world, the flesh and the devil. Satan enpowers the world to attack believers externally ,persecuting ,deceiving and seducing them. Internally, sinfulness frustrates the efforts of believers to serve God fully.

Philosophers sometimes ask a strange question. I know there is a reason for it, but it does seem pointless. Maybe you heard the question. It goes like this. If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound? Have you ever hard that? Is it just me or is it ridiculous? If…
Man In The Mirror
You know the feeling. The one you get when you think you’re not good enough. The one that convinces you you’ve done something too awful to forgive. That’s shame holding you back. And it’s time to break free and start living Unashamed Shame Off You I spent the first twenty-two years of my life shackled by shame. Looking back, I realize I had always felt it. It had been a part of my life from my earliest memories. I felt it when I was rejected. Made to feel unworthy. Of no value. I felt it when I was abused. And couldn’t tell anyone. And believed it was somehow my fault. I felt it when I tried to hide who I was, apologize for who I was, minimize my talents, or overachieve and compensate for feeling somehow “less than.” Have you felt it? If you’re human, you have—and the result is always the same. Shame makes us feel small. Flawed. Not good enough. And controlled. Shame is the fear of being unworthy, and it adversely affects our relationship with God, ourselves, and others.
