The proper response to the Divine work of the Father through Jesus Christ should be the Praise of His Name. Because of God's great mercy we have been born again, to a living hope, accomplished by salvation, heir to a mighty inheritance. All of these reasons should cause us to praise God for his Divine work in salvation.

Fundamentally, we are created by God, who desires we are in perfect relationship with Him for ever. Our sin condemns us to the exact opposite, a life of wandering, hurt, destruction and eternal damnation. The reason that Jesus came to us was for the sole purpose of redeeming us, at an unimaginable price, to be made perfect, in Him, so that we might be back in right standing with God. God did and does what He did and does in order that we might have life and that we might be in a righteous position before God.
