When you look at all of the things in life that you cannot live with out, the things that make your life better, and in many ways, keep you alive, how do you react to them? There are civilizations that worship these things, sadly, ours is one of them. Listen in and learn from the mistakes of Egypt, and the lesson God taught his people so you don't have to make the same mistakes in your life.

Psalm 9 teaches us to praise God in remembrance of his character and deeds - specifically for the just punishment of his enemies and his remembrance of the oppressed. Instead of forgetting our humble human position, we praise God for his mercy toward us and long for the day when he will bring full and final judgment to those who forget Him.

Exodus shows us some of the lessons that God taught the Israelites in the desert. This week we look at one of the essentials of a healthy spirtual community: Relying on God's power.

Theme: Victory over the Amalekites. When we test God, we are fighting for control and we start to embody confusion, doubt and resistance before the Lord. We get really concern about what we can not predict. When we test God, His grace comes in and will retest us, so that He calls us back to trust Jesus Christ. His grace is grater!
