What Would Jesus Say to...
We continue to confront the issues of our time. Again not to beat any partisan drum, but to turn to the Scriptures - particularly the gospels - to seek the Lord's mind on these. Today we get more specific with "What Would Jesus Say to the Republicans and Democrats?"
Joining together for worship is one of our high callings in Christ. There are elements of Christian living thhat are practically impossible to those who do not gather regularly with their Christian family. Learning to worship in a way that pleases God brings multiple layers of blessing to others and to ourselves.
Worship, worth or acceptable worship will be our topic for the next 3 or 4 messages. WE'll ask ourselves pertinent and pointed questions. We'll draw near to God in spirit and truth. We'll think, pray and engage others to help them worship well too!
Resurrection Sunday is much more that another "religious observance". It is the celebration of the most important event in history: Jesus' conquest of death and the grave. Celebrate the facts! Rejoice in the reason! Revel in His love and power!
After a week of Vacation Bible School we though it would be good to get the adults "caught up" with the kids on this most important of topics. Join us as we look at the eternal importance of God's word in our lives and others.
A Journey Toward Jesus
Our journey toward Jesus continues to take us deeper in understanding and appreciating God's fulfilled promises of Messiah. Though not a usual "Christmas season" passage Isiah 53 contains some of the most stark and significant prophecies of Yeshua the Messiah. Let's examine the first six verses in this message.
Grace for These Last Days
We can thank God for the heritage of the courageous men and women of the Reformation era (1517-1650). We appreciate their sacrifices and stand for truth, but we must face up to their failings and learn from their mistakes. They of all people, would not want us to perpetuate flawed beliefs or practices.
