Insidious proposals often bear noble names. This is the case with HR-5 called "The Equality Act". The Biblical case for equality stands against this poisonous piece of legislation. Christians need to be armed against this with Scripture, compassion and courage.
Since Jesus’ ascension the anticipation of believers has been not just of being united with Him after death, BUT that He would come back for us as He promised in John 14:1-3. The Holy Spirit inspired Paul to further explain this event in 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 and elsewhere.
What Would Jesus Say to...
We continue to confront the issues of our time. Again not to beat any partisan drum, but to turn to the Scriptures - particularly the gospels - to seek the Lord's mind on these. Today we get more specific with "What Would Jesus Say to the Republicans and Democrats?"

A Journey Toward Jesus
Our journey toward Jesus continues to take us deeper in understanding and appreciating God's fulfilled promises of Messiah. We appreciate their sacrifices and stand for truth, but we must face up to their failings and learn from their mistakes. They of all people, would not want us to perpetuate flawed beliefs or practices.
A balanced understanding of God is not a passive academic plod through dusty theological terms. It is a delightful adventure of discovery...if we approach Him, not "it". Any of the attributes or characteristics of God is worthy of detailed investigation, but sometimes stepping back to get a wider and more full view is needed.
The God You Can Know
Having looked at His work in the Old Testament era, today we'll look at how things changed after Jesus came. Understanding the Spirit's work in preparing the world for Jesus and working with Him will help you avoid some of the confusion and controversy.
