Since Jesus’ ascension the anticipation of believers has been not just of being united with Him after death, BUT that He would come back for us as He promised in John 14:1-3. The Holy Spirit inspired Paul to further explain this event in 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 and elsewhere.

It is not inaccurate to call the fifth book of the New Testament 'The Acts of the Holy Spirt'. His work and works fill this action-packed account of the early Church and its growth. As we see this era of transition develop we can see how Acts 1:8 is the key verse of this wonderful book.
Grace for These Last Days

We appreciate their sacrifices and stand for truth, but we must face up to their failings and learn from their mistakes.
