Are we allowing the Holy Spirit to guide us in our study of Scripture? Are we letting Jesus empower us to witness? His work is still being done at the end of this age

This weeks message discusses the restlessness and needs that mankind is searching for and how those needs are fully met in the coming of the Holy Spirit who gives us the things we truly need - Companionship, Connection and a Coach.

Today we will look at the story of Jesus’ early ministry and talk about his reception as He returns to his hometown. People are excited after they hear what he has done in Capernaum, let talk about how this encounter went.

Every day we are given an equal amount of seconds, minutes, hours to use as we choose. What will we choose to do with the time we have been given? Will we choose wisely?

Are we going to shield our faith or share it boldly?

Why did God begin the New Testament Church? What role did it play in the 1st century and what role does it play in our 21st century? Why is our Mission Statement so important and how does that play out in our day-to-day lives in the church? Let’s dig deeper.

Through the inworking of the Holy Spirit the Lord can transform nobodies into somebodies who change the world.

The Holy Spirit is active and alive in us. He never coerces but rather leads us by many interventions in our daily life.

From the creation of the world, humanity has fallen short of living the life God intended for us. God, in the ultimate act of love, sent his only Son to take on flesh and blood and enter our fallen world. This Son, Jesus, died for all who have lived and was resurrected from the dead. Our Savior give us hope for now and for eternity.
