Yahweh graciously rescues from slavery, protects, provides for and covenant’s with a people knowing they will reject and rebel against him repeatedly.

The LORD is preparing his people pragmatically and spiritually for the promised reward.

People will fail us but God always remembers his promises.

Pursue the way of wisdom even through the ironies of a fallen world.

The corruption caused by the fall leads humanity toward destruction, but God is doing a work of redemption among the children of man.

God freely created everything that exists in the universe, especially humanity with intimate purpose.

God’s people are told of coming suffering so that we will hold fast to the Sovereign God when world powers rise and fall or horrific persecution comes.

During exile God’s people must beware of the danger of assimilation and resolve to remain faithful to God no matter the cost.
