The Mustard seed is a reflection of small beginnings , but something that gradually has remarkable growth. it wraps up with Jesus privately explaing everything to His Disciples. Clearly to me Jesus was teaching the crowd to share about their encounter with God, spreading the word of God, proclaiming Jesus as Lord and Savior , and encouraging them that what they were apart of was bigger then anything they could imagine.

Are we really saved? The words of the prophet Jeremiah makes a distictive connection between a passing harvest and our salvation. It is time for a God moment, for a fresh awakening of the Body of Christ to the passing harvest.

The enemy resists Kingdom growth, but the righteous will shine like the sun after the harvest.

We are living in the last days and there is a harvest of souls that is ripe and ready to be brought into the Kingdom of God. Jesus said "the harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest." The question today is, "Who Will Go?" We need more laborers to go out and work in the harvest and bring them in to the Kingdom of God. Are you doing your part?

Jesus sees the great need for leaders to share the good news with those who long for it and empowers disciples to go out and change lives in his name. This is not simply the role of the Good Shepherd or elders or pastors, to lead this coming of the Kingdom. As a vital church, we are called to empower servant leaders to go out and proclaim the good news, giving each other the tools necessary to change lives in Jesus' name as well.

God of harvest, gardener supreme, you place us at the centre, feed us, equip us with your Word and create in us a new heart, a different harvest - a fruitfulness of lives in service to you and others.
