God uses Samuel's lust for a Philistine and murderous anger with her relatives to create "an occasion" for his victory. All the wrong reasons. God saves anyway. Even our very best motivations and impulses are corrupted by sin. God doesn't wait for us to get perfect before He uses us. He is already working in us and through us, not only despite our sinful desires, but even through them.
